I know that you are dying to use that designer series paper that you got for FREE during Sale-A-Bration ~ Everyday Enchantment ~ it is so pretty! Here is a little FLIP BOOK that I made at several of my parties in March, everyone thought it was lots of fun. It would be a great album for recipe cards, a scrapbook for someone special or even a little 'smash' book! And, it would look great in any of Stampin' Up!'s fabulous double sided 12" x 12" designer series papers!
Supplies: Designer Series Paper; Crop-A-Dile (#108362, page 207 IB&C); Paper Cutter (#104152 w cutting and scoring blades (#104154, page 208 IB&C); Ribbon of your choice; Accessory of your choice (mine is a retired piece from Stampin' Up!'s Hodgepodge Hardware) ~ you could use pretty Antique Brads to hold your card stock to the ribbon. I used 2 binder rings to hold the DSP together.
Cut your paper six inches wide by 12", 11", 10", 9", 8" and 7". Score in the center of the length of paper and fold. Layer the pieces according to the size with the smallest (7" folded) on top. I added a 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" piece of the cardboard from the bottom of the Designer Series Paper to the inside of the largest (12") folded layer for strength.
Punch two holes in the top (the non-fold side) approximately 1" from each side and 1/2" down using the Crop-A-Dile (punch all layers at the same time). Before you add the binder rings decorate your top layer and your album is finished. Enjoy!
