Storage Idea!

We all need great storage ideas no matter how much space we have for our craft products.  My friend, and wonderful demonstrator in NY, Deb Valder shared this tip that came from one of the members of her group.  It is a super storage idea so I thought I should share it with you.

Stampin' Up!'s framelits come in well made plastic envelopes to protect them but you still have to stack up the little envelopes.  I tried the cd cases to store them but that didn't work out well either.  Deb's idea is to use an 8" x 8" album.  To create your album storage ~

1.  Use the lightweight card board from a package of designer series paper.  Cut to 8" x 8".  Cover the card board with card stock.

2.  Cut 8" strips of self adhesive magnet sheets about 3/4" wide and adhere to the card stock.  Add framelits.  Slip inside the plastic album sheet.

3.  It also helps to number your framelits so it is easy to see if one is missing from the group.  I use a fine black Sharpie on the cutting side of the framelit and my number '1' is the smallest framelit.

I hope this storage tip will make your life a little easier.  Honestly, my album is brand new this week and I am loving it!  If I can help you with any of these Stampin' Up! products, just email or give me a call, 587-1548.  Thanks for stopping by!
