Cottage Apples
Alan and I spent several days last week at our cottage in the mountains of Central Virginia.  It was a relaxing time and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.  We missed the kitties, of course, but Lauren took good care of them while we were away.

Cottage Black Eyed SusansWe have three apple trees and the apples (at least some of them) are ready to be picked.  So, I have a basketful ~ any one have a great apple pie recipe to share?  The flowers are in the middle of our 'driveway'!  And, the peaches below (yumm!) from Saunder's Farm Market!

PeachesThis is our driveway and the pile of wood is what is left over from the oak in our front yard that fell this summer ~ Alsn's been busy.

The leaves are just beginning to turn, particularly the dogwoods.  Which must be why I spent yesterday making leaves (Wonderfall stamp set, page 33 in the Holiday Catalog) for my Stamp Clubs this week.  My first one is this morning at ten so I had better get going ~ here's a sneak preview!
