Candle Stamping step by step:
- Stamp you images onto tissue paper using classic ink stamp pads. You may also add color with chalks, a wheel or, gently, with colored pencils. If you want the image to be embossed, stamp your image with a Craft ink stamp pad, sprinkle embossing powder over the image and heat.
- Tear tissue to fit your candle. This is better than cutting, which sometimes leaves an obvious edge when adhered to the candle.
- Using the 2-Way Glue Pen, put a couple of small swipes of glue on to the back of the tissue paper so it stays when placed on the candle. Position tissue on candle , smooth into place.
- Turn the Heat Tool on and move it around until you see the wax begin to melt. It will appear shiny. Continue to move the Heat Tool around so the entire piece of tissue paper is melted in to the candle wax.
- If the wax begins to puddle or drip, quickly roll your candle back and forth on a scrap paper, it will smooth right out.
- When your candle burns down, drop a tea light inside to extend the life of your candle.
This will make a pretty addition to any Thanksgiving table or on your side table this Fall. Thanks for stopping by! Susan Elise
