Letterpress Plates are new for Stampin' Up!  It is an old printing technique that you can explore with our new plates.  This one, Lots of Love (#120983) is on page 7 of Stampin' Up!'s OCCASIONS MINI CATALOG.  I used Watercolor Paper (#105019) with the plate because you need a thick paper or card stock so that the letters can be debossed.  I know you all know how to emboss, to make the ink rise off of the card stock.  To deboss means that the image is pushed INTO the paper.  The plate is put through the Big Shot using a Premium Crease Pad.  It is a very elegant look and if you would like more information, or to try it yourself, give me a call ~ 757-587-1548.  Or, come to my BIG SHOT CLASS on Sunday afternoon, January 30, at 2 PM.  Susan Elise
