Cat/Art Studio

Saturday's Stamp-A-Stack Class was more than just a class ~ it was a homecoming party and a BIG SURPRISE for my friend, LaRaunce.  This fun class is planned so that everybody makes 18 holiday cards using Stampin' Up!'s Simply Scrappin' Kit, Christmas Cheer (#117401) on page 179 in the Idea Book and Catalog.  In addition, we only use 1/2 of the Kit so everyone can make 18 more cards when they get home!

This is the Cat/Art Studio Saturday morning before class, everything is set and ready!  On the right you see the package that everyone received ~ the Simply Scrappin' Kit, the accessory package ~ ribbon, brads, etc., and the card stock ~ cut and ready to use!  So, back to the BIG SURPRISE for LaRaunce.  Several years ago, LaRaunce brought her cousin Pat to class.  Pat lives in Baltimore and tries to visit once a year for a class.  She emailed me a couple of months ago and wanted to come to a class ~ and surprise LaRaunce!!!!  So, we have been conspiring since then.  At first, LaRaunce didn't want to sign up for the class as she had a wedding the same day so it took a little convincing.  She finally signed up!  And, this is the wonderful result…   More tomorrow!
