Polka Dots or Not?

I am ready for Spring and, for someone who has been wishing for snow for years now, that's saying something.  So, I got out my SPRING SONG stamp set (that I received FREE last week ~ you can choose sets in Stampin' Up!'s Idea Book & Catalog listed in the SALE-A-BRATION brochure and order them FREE! once you purchase $50 of product from any catalog ~ until the end of March!).

And, I have a group meeting Tuesday night.  Our group, SOUTHERN STARS, meets monthly on the third Tuesday of the month.  It is a get-together to share stamping tips, see new techniques and talk about our business or hobby.  Another thing we do is have a SWAP where we all make cards and swap with others in the group.  If you bring 12 cards you go home with 12 different cards.  So, here's my card ~

Stamp set:  Spring Song, p 102, #115074, $15.95 or FREE w a SAB order

Card Stock:  Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay, Whisper White

Ink:  Stazon Jet Black

Accessories:  Rich Regals Watercolor Crayons, Bermuda Bay Grosgrain, Dimensionals, Wide Oval and Scallop Oval Punches, the Big Shot and the new Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Folder!

NOTICE how just the top of the Melon Mambo card stock has polka dots?  I put the card stock into the folder, ran it into the Big Shot and then backed it out of the Big Shot.  That way you don't have to add texture to the entire card front!  Cool!
