Cat/Art Studio

Yesterday afternoon was my Design Studio Event for my customers who designed their holiday cards with me and came to work on them in the Cat/Art Studio.  Vernelle has been very busy working on her cards but, for a very different reason.  She is planning a January surprise birthday event for her Mother and has designed and made her invitations for the event.  In the picture she is holding up her card ~ black, white and red ~ her Mom's favorite colors.  She is also using some glamorous card stock you might be interested in.  Stampin' Up!'s Specialty Paper designed for just this purpose, for weddings and other elegant events.  You can find it on page 158 in the Idea Book & Catalog.  It is a foil card stock in Whisper White (Bride), Basic Black (Groom) and Very Vanilla (Bridesmaid).  The black layer on the front of Vernelle's invitation is Basic Black.  She also lined her envelopes with the card stock and they look great.  But, don't tell Vernelle's Mom ~ it's a SURPRISE!
